Clean and friendly. Couldn’t have found a better place

great location off I 70 with walking distance shops and restaurants. Quite clean well appointed room with comfortable bed, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Breakfast free. Parking free. Wifi free

- One night stay in late May 2025. Wonderful location in the valley of the Rockies - definitely a gem of gems! - Stayed on the second floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. If you wanted to smell the clean fresh air, the window could be opened (which I did!). I sat on the window seat breathing the air and watching the sunset over the mountains. - Bed was firm and comfortable. Pillows were soft. My only wish was that there was an extra blanket available for those who like to feel snuggled in bed. - The aircon/heater worked like a dream. - Amazing water pressure for the shower/bath and hot water was instantly hot. - We appreciated the little touches like the seal placed on the folded end of the toilet roll and hot chocolate sachets in the dining area for those who don’t drink coffee. - The staff were welcoming from check-in to check-out and very knowledgeable about the region.

This is the place to stay if you value convenient access to interstate. Quick access to Main Street. Breakfast was satisfying - basic but satisfying. Walls extremely thin. No conversation is private. Bed was hard and pillows were not comfortable. Hot tub - after a long day on the slopes - was not therapeutic. The water was not hot enough. This is your basic hotel. We knew there would not be many amenities but the property is still lacking quality. Do not stay in room 300....it is like a closet with no refrigerator.

A strong B+/A- lodging experience My overnight stay at the Ramada in Frisco, Colorado, was fine. The physical plant was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The bed was firm, but still comfortable. I always have trouble sleeping the first couple of nights that I'm in Summit County regardless of where I stay because of the lower oxygen level in the air at that high altitude, so I don't think that my sleeplessness was related to the bed, but to the oxygen level. The "free" breakfast was about average, certainly nothing to differentiate it from almost any other "free" breakfast offered by any other comparable lodging option. The staff with whom I interacted were friendly and helpful, something that is often taken for granted by tired travelers. I'll grade the lodging at a strong B+/A- level, a better "free" breakfast might have earned a higher grade from me, but to earn an "A" the organization has to go above and beyond 'cause I believe that excellence is a high bar that is seldom actually reached.

Older hotel in good location close to I70 and 20 minutes to ski resorts.
